For those not familiar with Redington, they opened their doors in 1961 and have been in their original building in Windsor, CT ever since. From their inception, they have been focused on new product development, and 44 years later, the result is evident. They are quite literally one of the only companies left in existence who are a full-line manufacturer of counters and hour meters - and their business is growing strong.

Paul Davis Automation has been selling Redington for over 20 years, and we hope to sell them for 20 more. When it comes down to it, nothing beats their customer service, quality, and price.

Redington Model 63 We are pleased to announce the addition of the Model 63 and the Model 34 to our product mix. Planned release for both the 63 and 34 is early Fall 2009. Both will feature an outdoor-readable high-contrast 8-digit LCD display, a wide AC/DC input range, and will fit all industry-standard form factors. An optional gasket will add NEMA 4X/IP66 environmental protection.

Most interesting, however, is the addition of what we call "service icons." These icons (pictured left underneath the LCD digits) will come-on at preset counts/hours/revolutions/etc to indicate to the end-user that it is time for service. Both the Model 63 and the Model 34 will have an output that is tied to the service icon indicator for external pilot lights, alarms, and other operator devices.

In fact, you could even connect the output to our SMS relay for remote monitoring of equipment. Pump ready for it's 100 hour service? Have a text message sent to your maintenance crews instantly.
