What's worse - stripping wires or tightening screws? Both are especially time consuming when wiring a 24 position power connector - especially when there are multiple cable assemblies to do. The problem grows exponentially worse as more assemblies are added. How many minutes of your day are spent stripping cable and tightening screws, anyway? Insulation Displacement Connectors, or IDC, have long been used in the computer industry to make critical component connections, such as hard drives and peripheral connections. The benefits of IDC far outclass standard screw/cage clamp connections. Due to the fact that an IDC connection is a cold-welded bond between conductors when properly installed, IDC is completely vibration resistant. Typical installation times are at least 50% less than screw or cage clamp connections, and wire pull-out strength is at least 10 times greater. Check out our 60 Second Sales Pitch for Walther IDC connectors to see for yourself: Would you like to see a demo in person? Drop us a line - we would love to hear from you! |

What exactly is Kanthal Fibrothal? Yes, it ends in "thal", so it must be a Kanthal product involving fiber, but like so many of Kanthal's other products, it is much more than what you would expect at first glance. Fibrothal is a vacuum-formed ceramic fiber insulation system. There are no standard sizes or configurations of Fibrothal, because we custom-build both the insulation itself as well as the elements to fit your application. Our maximum temperature for embedded elements is 1180C and ROB (surface-mounted) elements 1300C. We can work in many different atmospheres (even carburizing), and we can even work in some vacuum applications. Want to see for yourself? Check out our YouTube video for more information. |

ESG, based out of Colmar, PA, represents a number of lines that we in turn sell for them in Ohio and Kentucky. We like to call them our "in-panel commodity" line, as they supply everything from terminal blocks, to wireway and of course, power supplies. Recently, they added a new line of power supplies to their product mix - Reign Power Supplies. We have had great success with Reign thus far, as they are reliable, but priced very competitively as compared to IDEC, Sola, and others.
For example, the 5A 24VDC unit pictured sells for $75/ea. Not too bad! Contact us for more information. |

The new home (almost) of Paul Davis Automation. In pursuit of better integration with our online marketing campaigns, we have decided to uproot and join the world of 2009. Our past web design was a bit dated, but we are edging closer to putting together a presence that is far more engaging and useful. |
